In ITSM360, core practices like CIs, Assets, Tickets, etc., are stored in individual SharePoint lists. The maximum limit for each list is 30 million records, and we tested with 10+ million.

SharePoint and Scaling

Can the solution scale and handle big data? With ISM360, we don’t use SharePoint as a frontend for your ITSM practices – only as the data source. We use SharePoint as a Sequential concept, which is the data design behind the solution. With JSON-based pointers between tables, only the ITSM apps and APIs perform CRUD operations in SharePoint.

What about Dataverse and Power App

We don’t use Microsoft Dataverse, not because we don’t like the platform—simply because SharePoint is more than sufficient for you until now. It would only increase your cost to Microsoft, but our ITSM apps could theoretically connect to a Dataverse-driven data host. As for Power App, you can build your own Power App for dashboards or even special applications, but we don’t use Power App. Power App is more complicated to deploy. With our SPFx-developed apps, we have a solution that can scale and adapt to your business fast (and make it easy for admins to manage in the tenant app catalog).
